This blog is the culmination of more than twenty years of research and was created for the purpose of sharing information relating to the hymnody of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. All work herein is my own unless otherwise noted.

A word about the notes and sources: I had originally intended to use footnotes throughout this blog, but with the limitations of WordPress it was more convenient to add sources at the end, with separate explanatory notes where necessary. The exception to this is when quoting from a source, where I have opted to briefly cite the source in parentheses directly following the quote and to include the full source citation at the end in the section labeled “sources.”
